Payment options for international customers
How to pay from Vietnam and from abroad, and why the price can differ.

Where payment starts
Every route below opens from the same place: the invitation's own card on the My Invitations page. Sign in, find the invitation you want to pay for, and press Pay on its card.
Starting from the card ties the payment screen to that invitation, so the methods and the amount you see next are the right ones for it.
Which cards work outside Vietnam
Outside Vietnam you pay by card, through the online payment option on the payment screen. Credit cards and debit cards both work, as long as the card carries an international Visa, Mastercard, American Express or JCB logo. The form only asks for card details; it never requires a credit card specifically.
What the card does need is permission from your bank to make online international payments in US dollars. Cards on domestic-only networks such as Meeza, mada, RuPay, Mir, Troy, Elo or NAPAS cannot be used. If your card is international and the payment is still refused, open your banking app and check the international or online payment setting, which many banks leave switched off until you turn it on yourself.
The price depends on where you are
ChungDoi does not have one single price everywhere. It depends on the country you are in and on whether this is your first invitation or a later one.
The right price for you is shown on the pricing page, and again on the payment screen before you pay. The figure on that screen is the figure you are charged.
What one paid invitation includes
Unlimited guests, long-term access, and permanent ownership of that invitation.
Payment is tied to an invitation, not to your account. If you make separate cards for the groom's side and the bride's side, those are two invitations and each is paid for separately.
Paying from Vietnam
Inside Vietnam you choose how to pay the moment the payment screen opens: bank transfer, or the MoMo wallet.
For MoMo, the MoMo app opens with the amount already filled in. Confirm it there and the invitation unlocks on its own, usually within a minute, with no transfer reference to copy.
Paying by bank transfer
For a bank transfer you pay in Vietnamese dong through SePay: scan the QR code with your banking app, or transfer the exact amount using the exact transfer reference shown on screen.
That reference is how the system recognises your transfer, so leave it exactly as shown and do not edit or add to it.
If you are Vietnamese living abroad
Vietnamese customers abroad viewing the site in Vietnamese can still pay by Vietnamese dong bank transfer through SePay. It is convenient when a Vietnamese bank account is still in use.
One thing to know: the price for this route is not the domestic Vietnamese price, and it does not change with the country you are in. Go by the figure on the payment screen; that is what to transfer.
The MoMo wallet works on this route too, and charges in Vietnamese dong like the transfer does. The amount is written on the MoMo button itself, not the dollar figure above it.
Tax and exchange rates
The displayed price excludes local tax. If your country charges tax on digital purchases, it is added at checkout and is already part of the total you pay.
When you are billed in US dollars, the local figure we show beside the price is an estimate, and where your country charges tax it already includes that tax. Your bank sets the final exchange rate and some cards add a foreign-transaction fee, so the amount on your statement can still differ a little.
If a wallet button on the payment page opens nothing
Beside the card box, the payment page can show wallet tabs such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, Cash App or Link. Those tabs come from the payment provider, not from ChungDoi. We hand the provider the amount and the language and nothing else, so we cannot switch a wallet on or off.
A wallet button opens an app on your phone, and it has to be the exact app that button targets. The Alipay button opens the mainland China Alipay app, and AlipayHK is a different app that cannot answer it, so the phone says the address is invalid even with Alipay installed. The link is the same in every browser, so moving from Safari to Chrome will not change it.
The way through is the card box on that same page: type the card number straight in. If the page also shows a PayPal tab it is worth a try, though PayPal is not available in every country.
